Andrew Wong

Carol Klein

Best-known as co-presenter of BBC TV's "Gardeners' World", Carol Klein is an internationally renowned gardener. Marchester-born Carol moved to Devon in the late 1970s with her two daughters. She started propagating plants because she couldn't afford to buy the ones she wanted for her own garden. Friends suggested she sell the spares, so Carol opened a stall in the local market, and eventually she opened her own nursery which is now a thriving business. Carol has designed four commercial show gardens at Chelsea, won five Cheslsea gold medals. Carol has presented several gardening shows since her television debut on Gardeners' World in 1989, including Garden Party, Wild About the Garden and Real Gardens. Carol also writes regularly for Gardeners World magazine, House & Garden and is a frequent contributor to the Daily Telegraph Gardening section.

Carol Woolton is a leading authority on jewellery, having lectured and written widely on antique and modern jewellery for newspapers and magazines around the world. Colin Beveridge

Colin Beveridge can't understand why maths isn't the most popular subject on the planet, and spends his life trying to make it so. After a PhD from St Andrews, he worked on NASA's Living With A Star program before returning to the UK in 2008. When he's not writing, teaching, or speaking about maths, he's looking after his young sons or running on south Dorset's excellent cycle path network.

Cyrus Todiwala OBE, DL, was born in Bombay and rose to become Executive Chef of the Taj Group of hotels in India. Award-winning author and whisky expert Dave Broom has been writing about whisky for 25 years as a journalist and author. He has written eight books, two of which (Drink! and Rum) won the Glenfiddich Award for Drinks Book of the Year. He has also won the Glenfiddich Award for Drinks Writer of the Year twice and recently won the extremely prestigious IWSC Communicator of the Year Award.
