Nicholas Faith

Nicholas Faith is one of the best-known financial journalists inBritain.His first wine book, TheWinemasters was published in 1978and won the André Simon award.He has written other well-receivedworks on Champagne and on major Bordeaux châteaux, including TheWinemasters of Bordeaux.He was editorial director of the leading Frenchwine magazine L'Amateur de Bordeaux.His book on Cognac was awardedprizes in both Britain and the United States and is recognized as thestandard work on the subject.He writes for numerous magazines andnewspapers, including the Financial Times.He lives in London.
Holly Farrell

Holly Farrell spent two years at RHS Gardens Wisley where she gained the Wisley Diploma in Practical Horticulture, and the RHS Certificate and Diploma (both with Commendation), and where she won the Nicholson Prize for overall contribution to RHS Garden Wisley as a trainee. After working as Head Gardener on a private estate she now combines designing and improving gardens for private clients with her developing career as a garden writer for publications such as Kitchen Garden and the RHS magazine The Garden. Holly is the author of RHS Plants from Pips, RHS Gardening for Mindfulness and Planting Plans for Your Kitchen Garden: How to Create a Vegetable, Herb and Fruit Garden in Easy Stages. She lives in Oxfordshire.
Jez Felwick

Jez Felwick learned his craft at Darina Allen's Ballymaloe Cookery School, before discovering the food truck scene on a trip to the US that inspired the launch of The Bowler. Jez began selling meatballs from his van, 'The Lawn Ranger', at festivals and street-food markets across the UK. Along with POLPO founders Russell Norman and Richard Beatty, Jez has recently announced the launch of The Bowler, a meatball shop in Covent Garden, London celebrating 'Good Food, Well Rounded'.

Ursula Ferrigno was taught to cook and love food by her grandmother. She now passes on this passion and knowledge through cookery classes in London's Books for Cooks, Divertimenti, Leiths School of Food and Wine and La Cucina Caldesi Cookery School. She also cooks at RSJ Restaurant in Waterloo. She writes for several publications, including Taste Italia and American food magazine Gourmet. She has written several books with Mitchell Beazley, including Truly Italian, Bringing Italy Home, Italy Sea to Sky, La Dolce Vita, and The New Family Bread book.

Clare Foster

Clare Foster is Garden Editor at Home & Garden magazine and a freelance garden journalist. She spent 10 years at Gardens Illustrated magazine, latterly as Editor, and has written three books: From Bud to Seed: Perennials and From Bud to Seed: Annuals (Conran Octopus 2001) and Compost (Cassell Illustrated 2002).
