Jackie Hardy has been reading, writing and editing haiku for fifteen years. The landscape and lifestyle of rural Northumberland, England, where she has lived for the last twenty years, provides inspiration for much of her creative work. Jackie has written a haiku collection entitled The Dust is Golden. Some more of her haiku appears in her poetry collection, Canuting the Waves. Jackie works in adult education. Currently she manages a series of outreach programmes for Lancaster University, but has tutored many courses on literature and creative writing in northeast England.

Jonathan Hilton is a freelance writer and editor with a wide experience of environmental and complementary health subjects. Over the past 15 years, Jonathan has contributed to or edited around 20 specialist books on subjects including reflexology, yoga, tai chi, colour healing, allergen-free living and constructing and furnishing environmentally low-impact homes and offices. His most recent work is the Gaia book Wild Food.
Tanmaya Honervogt is a Reiki Master-Teacher, with a direct lineage to the Reiki source. She has been working with Reiki healing and meditation since 1983. She regularly holds training sessions in traditional Usui Reiki in Europe, Japan and the USA.
