Megan C Hayes PhD
Megan C Hayes is a groundbreaking researcher and pioneer of the Positive Journal® approach to personal writing. She has spent a decade studying writing and the psychology of happiness, and discovering ways that writing makes us happier. She is an academic in the fields of Positive Psychology and Creative Writing, with a personal interest in mental health issues after growing up with a mother and sister who both experienced bipolar episodes. Andrea Piparo was born in Rome in 1990, where he graduated from art school in via Ripetta and continued his studies by attending the illustration course at the International School of Comics. He has appeared in various collective exhibitions, produced several portraits on commission, and contributed to the 2013 calendar of the Italian National Police. He has also exhibited at various events such as Fantastika, Dozza (Bologna) in 2014 and at Wow Comics Space (Milan) in 2015. He currently lives and works in Castelnuovo di Porto in the province of Rome.
George Plumptre is an author, journalist, and lecturer, acknowledged as an international authority on gardens and gardening. From 1993-1996 he was the gardening correspondent for The Times. He has lectured on a wide range of garden subjects in Britain, the USA, and South Africa, and has contributed articles to such publications as Country Life, Homes & Gardens, The Daily Telegraph, Architectural Digest (USA) and Conde Nast House & Garden (South Africa). Arthur Potts Dawson
Arthur Potts Dawson is passionate about good food, eating well and making the most of what's fresh, local and seasonal. He was trained by the Roux brothers, Rowley Leigh and Pierre Koffmann. He went on to be head chef for Ruth Rogers & Rose Gray at the River Café, the Soho House Group at Cecconi's, Jamie Oliver at Fifteen and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall at River Cottage HQ. He founded London eco-restaurants Acorn House and Water House for the Shoreditch Trust, and the annual Mrs Paisley's Lashings pop-ups with Jo Wood.Arthur has appeared on the BBC's Market Kitchen on numerous occasions, had his own show in C4's latest Food Fight season alongside Gordon, Jamie,Hugh and Heston, and was featured on C4's The People's Supermarket documentary this Spring. Arthur lives in London and Somerset with his partner and two children, and he's working on his next restaurant.
Michael Powell studied English Language and Literature at Manchester University before spending three years at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, training to be an actor. He then spent five years as an internationally unknown professional actor and musical director. In 1996, Michael entered publishing and became assistant editor at BCA for two years. In 2001, Michael became a freelance writer and editor. Since then, he has established a reputation for writing a wide range of books for adults and children.
