David Austin is the creator of the English Roses, an entirely new style of roses that have achieved international recognition. With his eldest son David J. C. Austin, he owns one of the world's leading rose nurseries, David Austin Roses. At Albrighton in Shropshire the family-run business has created rose gardens containing over 800 varieties. More than 1.2 million roses are grown for sale every year and the team carries out one of the largest rose breeding programmes in the world, selecting each year's new introductions after eight years of trialling. Born in 1926, David Austin has been breeding and hybridizing roses for more than sixty years and is still very active at the nursery, devoting most of his time to developing new roses. His previous books on roses include the best-selling David Austin's English Roses (Conran Octopus), which won a Garden Writer's Guild Award. He was awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour by the Royal Horticultural Society in 2003 for his services to horticulture and the Dean Hole Medal by the Royal National Rose Society. He has received an Honorary MSc from the University of East London for his work on rose breeding, and in 2007 was awarded an OBE.

Demetrius Fordham is a professional commercial, editorial and lifestyle photographer based in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Stuttgart, Germany and raised in Denver, Colorado, Demetrius launched his photography career assisting iconic photographers such as Sheila Metzner and Kurt Iswarienko. He was also the first assistant of celebrated commercial photographer Doug Menuez for many years.

Duncan Campbell

From 1986, both at university and during an earlier career in corporate finance, Duncan spent every Saturday working for a well-known silver dealer in Portobello Road. Since 1993 he has built up a specialist silver business based in Bath, south-west England, focusing on the more unusual areas, such as early, foreign and colonial, ecclesiastical and rare silver. Duncan has produced silver catalogues and research for a wide variety of private clients and also for institutions, including The Worshipful Company of Armourers and Braziers, The City of Nottingham Museum, The Baltic Exchange, Lloyd's of London and The Bowes Museum. Since 2009 he has also been an expert on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow, one of his highlights having been the discovery of a silver spoon dating back to 1440.

Emma Spitzer

Emma Spitzer was born and raised in Brighton, southern England, to Jewish parents of Polish and Russian descent.Following her success on reaching the final of BBC 1's MasterChef, Emma has been in high demand. She has been teaching cookery classes and demonstrating at food festivals, running sell-out supper clubs and catering for private dining events. Emma's popularity on the show is evident through her social media following, with more than 50,000 followers on Twitter. She lives in north London with her husband, four young daughters and their cat.

Master Patissier and twice winner of the prestigious Continental Patissier of the Year at the British Baking Awards, Eric Lanlard has earned himself an international reputation for superlative baked creations for an impressive A-list clientele, including Madonna and Sir Elton John. Having trained in France, Eric moved to London where he ran the patisserie business for Albert and Michel Roux. He stayed there for five years before launching his own business, Cake Boy, a destination cafe, cake emporium and cookery school based in London. Eric is an experienced TV presenter, most recently with Channel 4's Baking Mad with Eric Lanlard. Harry Borden

Harry Borden is one of the most celebrated portrait photographers working today. His pictures have featured in some of the world's leading magazines, including The New Yorker, Time, Vogue, American GQ, Das Magazin, Le Nouvel Observateur and Stern. Harry has won prizes at the World Press Photo awards (1997 and 1999) and was a judge in the contest in 2010 and 2011. In June 2005 he was awarded a solo exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London; the gallery now has more than 100 examples of Harry's work in its permanent collection. His personal project on Holocaust survivors was shortlisted for the European Publishers Award in 2014. In the same year, Harry was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal Photographic Society.
