Terence Conran

Terence Conran is one of the world's best-known designers, restaurateurs and retailers. In the 1960s he founded Habitat - the chain of homeware stores that brought good, modern design within reach of the general population for the very first time.Over the subsequent 50 years Terence built another group of companies centred around design, retailing, restaurants and hotels. Today, Conran owns restaurants and shops in eight cities throughout the world and a design business serving many international clients that includes architecture and interior design, product and graphic design and brand licensing.In January 2011 Conran began working with Marks & Spencer in the UK, designing an exclusive range of homewares for the store. In 2012 Conran signed a deal to collaborate with US retail giant jcpenney to design an exclusive range of furniture, lighting and accessories for the home. The initial collection launched in spring 2013 into 300 jcpenney stores throughout the US and there will be new ranges launching each spring and autumn.Terence was knighted for his services to design in 1983 and has been provost of the Royal College of Art in London. In 1982 he opened the very first museum in the world dedicated to design, which is now the celebrated Design Museum in London, due to move to new premises in 2015 thanks to a massive expansion programme.

Martyn Nail

Martyn was first inspired to cook by his grandmother and was baking his own cakes by the age of eight. He earned his catering diploma from Highbury College in 1986, top in his field with distinction. Two years later, Martyn started work at Claridge's as Third Commis Chef under Maître Chef des Cuisines Marjan Lesnik and later under John Williams. Over the years Martyn rose through the ranks to become the hotel's highly respected Executive Chef in 2004. Under Martyn's direction, Claridge's iconic afternoon tea won the British Tea Guild Best Afternoon Tea award twice. Martyn has worked tirelessly to make the Claridge's Foyer and Reading Room into one of London's most happening venues for lunch and dinner. His achievements have been honoured in the form of prestigious awards and accolades, including the title of Rising Star Chef, which he received at the 2013 Tatler Restaurant Awards. Saiphin grew up on a mountain farm in Khao Kho, Northern Thailand, where she learned to cook with ingredients brought straight from field to wok. When she was 20, Saiphin moved to Hong Kong as a nanny where she spent the next 18 years cooking endless family meals and dinner parties, fitting catering jobs around her babysitting duties. Shortly after meeting Alex in 2001, she set up her own Thai takeaway and later a sit-down restaurant named Tuk Tuk Thai. The pair lived in Hong Kong for 6 years, before selling the restaurant and moving to London together in 2006.Rosa's Thai CafeFounded by Anglo-Thai husband and wife team Alex and Saiphin Moore, Rosa's is a Thai café group that has grown from a street-food stall in Brick Lane in 2008 to 10 London restaurants (Soho, Spitalfields, Stratford, Carnaby Street, Islington, Brixton, Chelsea, Victoria, Hampsted & Stratford) today.
