Charlotte Farmer graduated from Central St Martin's in London in 2006 with an MA in Communication Design. Hayley Campbell

Hayley Campbell, who spent many months rummaging through Neil's attic to source the material for this book, was born in England and lived in Australia for 20 years before moving to London, where she writes for the New Statesman, The Comics Journal and McSweeney's. She is currently working on her first novel, and can often be found committing terrible acts of amateur taxidermy.

Holly Wales

Holly Wales is a UK-based illustrator. Her work explores a variety of subjects, pushing colour marker pens to their limits. Holly works with text and multiple layers of colour to deconstruct forms and produce dynamic compositions. Her client list includes Bloomberg, Deutsche Bank, The Wall Street Journal, Men's Health, National Geographic, Byron Hamburgers, The Huffington Post, the V&A, Urban Outfitters, Wired and GQ Deutschland. Between 2008 and 2013 she illustrated a weekly column for The New York Times Magazine. Holly has also taught on several illustration courses around the UK including Central St Martins, Winchester School of Art, Camberwell College of Arts, Falmouth University and Brighton University.

Jake Spicer

Jake Spicer is an artist and drawing tutor based in Brighton, England. Judith Miller

Judith Miller began collecting in the 1960s while a student at Edinburgh University in Scotland. She has since extended and reinforced her knowledge of antiques through international research, becoming one of the world's leading experts in the field. In 1979 she co-founded the international best-seller Miller's Antiques Price Guide and has since written more than 100 books which are held in high regard by collectors and dealers.Judith Miller appears regularly on TV and radio. She is an expert on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow and has co-hosted the popular BBC series The House Detectives, ITV's Antiques Trail, and Discovery's It's Your Bid. She has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show and CNN. She is a regular lecturer and contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Financial Times, the Daily Telegraph, BBC Homes & Antiques and House & Garden. She has lectured extensively, including at the V&A in London and the Smithsonian in Washington.

Matthew Brehm

Matthew Brehm is an Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of Idaho, where his teaching responsibilities include design studios, graphics courses, and an annual study abroad program in Rome, Italy, that he initiated in 2007. He is the author of Sketching on Location and Drawing Perspective. In 2010, Matthew received the university's Hoffman Award for Excellence in Teaching, and his drawings have been recognized with awards by the Design Communication Association and the American Society of Architectural Illustrators.

Michael Freeman

Michael Freeman, professional photographer and best-selling author, was born in England in 1945, took a Masters in Geography at Brasenose College, Oxford University, and then worked in advertising in London for six years. In 1971 he made the life-changing decision to travel up the Amazon with two secondhand cameras, and when Time-Life used many of the pictures he came back with, he embarked on a full-time photographic career.Since then, working for clients that include all the world's major magazines, most notably the Smithsonian Magazine (for which he has shot more than 40 stories over 30 years), Freeman's reputation as one of the world's leading reportage photographers has been consolidated. Of his many books, which have sold over 4 million copies worldwide, more than 60 titles are on the practice of photography. For this photographic educational work he was awarded the Prix Louis Philippe Clerc by the French Ministry of Culture.Freeman's books on photography have been translated into 27 languages.

Mouni Feddag

Born and based in the UK, Mouni Feddag studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt in Germany, and is now represented by The Bright Agency as an illustrator. Her clients have included Vogue Online, Nido Magazine, Hambly & Woolley and NPR. Shortlisted for the AOI Serco Prize for Illustration 2015 and the winner of the Hans-Meid-Förderpreis 2015, Mouni's publications and contriutions also include Doodlers Anonymous Epic Colouring Book and Quiet, Constant Friends.

Rachel Ann Lindsay

Rachel Ann Lindsay is a freelance artist living and working in Toronto, Canada. HOW Magazine listed her as one of the "20 illustrators we love". Her work, commissioned by Yabu Pushelberg, hangs in the suites of the new flagship Four Seasons in Toronto. Other clients include American Express, Honda, Chapters Indigo, TD Canada Trust, Holt Renfrew, Bank of Montreal Mastercard, The Bay, Marie Claire, The Chicago Tribune, The Los Angeles Times Book Review and The Atlantic. Her whimsical continuous-line drawings are created in ink on paper.

Rebekka Guoleifsdottir

Rebekka GuðleifsdÓttir has been named the Web's Top Photographer by The Wall Street Journal, and her work has won her admirers around the world, appearing in The Guardian, The New York Times, Der Spiegel, and Playboy. As well as being a photographer and artist, she designs and knits custom sweaters, and dabbles in animation and video. She lives in Iceland with her boyfriend, border collie, and two teenage sons.
