Adam Juniper has had a longstanding interest in consumer technology, having written his first gear review for a magazine before he was old enough to drive. He's written and edited dozens of books, especially on photography, drones and now the arrival of the digital assistant. Brian Dilg

Brian Dilg is a photographer, filmmaker, writer, and educator. Founding chair of the Photography department of New York Film Academy, he has also served as a spokesperson for Canon, for whom he created a series of photography tutorials.He has been involved in photography since childhood, growing up in the darkroom under the tutelage of his father and grandfather, both avid amateur photographers. His work has since been exhibited and collected worldwide, and published in the New York Times, Time Out, the Village Voice, and on book covers for Simon and Schuster, Hyperion, Doubleday, and others.

Cachetejack

Cachetejack is Spanish illustration duo Nuria Bellver and Raquel Fanjul, who are currently based in Berlin. They have worked with numerous brands and publications, including The New York Times, Elle and Hermès.

Camilla Stephens

Higgidy's founder and chief pie maker, Camilla Stephens, began making pies in 2003, having trained as a cook at Leiths School of Food and Wine. She worked for a time as head of food development for Starbucks UK before leaving to follow her dreams and start her own business - Higgidy. Since then, Higgidy has become one of the UK's fastest-growing food companies, and its products are now stocked in most of the country's major supermarkets. Camilla is married to Higgidy's co-founder James, and they have two children.

Chetna Makan

Chetna Makan was born in Jabalpur, an ancient city in central India. She has a degree in fashion and worked in Mumbai as a fashion designer before moving to the UK in 2003. Chetna reached the semi-final of The Great British Bake Off in 2014, and her first book, The Cardamom Trail, is a celebration of baking with Indian flavours. She has a very popular YouTube channel 'Food with Chetna' where she shares her creative flair for food.

Christie Goodwin

Christie Goodwin is a British photographer with a career that spans over 35 years. She has worked for Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart and other top recording artists. Christie's work appears on CDs, DVDs and tour merchandise, and in international publications, books and exhibitions. When not on the road in a tour bus, Christie is at home in London, where she regularly shoots as official photographer for the Royal Albert Hall. She can be found on both instagram and twitter @christiegoodwin.

Emma Faull

Emma Faull is a watercolour painter of birds who captures the detail and immediacy of birds in the wild, particularly endangered species. She has exhibited her work worldwide with more than 20 solo shows. Her paintings are in many permanent collections, including the Audubon Society in the USA, the National Museum of Athens and more than a dozen with Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh. Emma has had many successful exhibitions since 1998 at the Tryon Gallery in London. She continues to work on endangered species for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in Jersey where she lives.

Geoffrey Fisher

Geoffrey Fisher studied fine art in the late seventies when his artistic interest rested between painting and sculpture. After graduating from art school he set up his own studio and a few years later moved abroad to broaden his life experience. Here his ideas developed into making everyday objects. His items first sold in a concept store on Brick Lane, and his range is now available throughout Europe and America.

Ian Birch

Ian Birch is former Editorial Director of Hearst UK and Emap. He began his magazine career in the late 1970s as a reporter for Melody Maker, before moving to Smash Hits, where he was assistant editor for three years from 1984. His first launch and editorship came in the late 1980s with Sky magazine. At Hearst UK he oversaw brands like Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harper's Bazaar, Men's Health and Good Housekeeping.Prior to working at Hearst, Birch was chief content officer at TV Guide in New York for four years; and before this he was editorial director at Emap for more than 10 years, where he helped to launch Red, Closer, Grazia and re-launch Heat.

John Vincent

John is co-founder of LEON, which now has more than 55 restaurants (including in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Oslo and Washington, DC). He wrote LEON Naturally Fast Food with Henry Dimbleby, LEON Family & Friends with Kay Plunkett-Hogge, LEON Happy Salads and LEON Fast & Free with Jane Baxter and LEON Happy Soups, LEON Happy One-pot Cooking and LEON Fast Vegan with Rebecca Seal. He thinks that our relationship with food should be positive and joyous and that we need to listen more carefully to our gut, eat more good fats and less sugar.

John Whaite

John Whaite won the third series of The Great British Bake Off, and now runs his own cookery school, John Whaite's Kitchen. His fourth book Comfort was chosen as a Book of the Year by BBC Radio 4's Food Programme. John was also a resident chef on ITV's Lorraine for two years. He has written regularly for The Daily Telegraph, Delicious Magazine and Waitrose Weekend and Kitchen. John appears at the BBC Good Food show, The Cake & Bake Show and various regional food festivals across the country. This is his fifth book. @john_whaite

Michael Freeman

Michael Freeman, professional photographer and best-selling author, was born in England in 1945, took a Masters in Geography at Brasenose College, Oxford University, and then worked in advertising in London for six years. In 1971 he made the life-changing decision to travel up the Amazon with two secondhand cameras, and when Time-Life used many of the pictures he came back with, he embarked on a full-time photographic career.Since then, working for clients that include all the world's major magazines, most notably the Smithsonian Magazine (for which he has shot more than 40 stories over 30 years), Freeman's reputation as one of the world's leading reportage photographers has been consolidated. Of his many books, which have sold over 4 million copies worldwide, more than 60 titles are on the practice of photography. For this photographic educational work he was awarded the Prix Louis Philippe Clerc by the French Ministry of Culture.Freeman's books on photography have been translated into 27 languages.

She is one of the food and drink experts on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch. She lives in London with her husband and two small daughters.
