When not leafing though old volumes of magazines, Catriona can be found at Town & Country and Harper's Bazaar, and is reviews editor for the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain.

Dan Doherty

Dan Doherty is the Chef Director at London's Duck & Waffle, with a restaurant on the 40th floor of Heron Tower in the City of London and the more informal Duck & Waffle Local in London's West End. He won Tatler's Rising Star Chef award at their 2013 Restaurant Awards and the Guardian declared him 'among the high priests of Britain's culinary revival'.He has appeared on BBC 1's Saturday Kitchen and Channel 4's Sunday Brunch and regularly speaks and demonstrates at festivals and events including Taste London and Meatopia. His second book, Toast Hash Roast Mash, was published in 2016.

Dhan Tamang

Dhan Tamang is UK Latte Art Champion 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, as well as a finalist at the 2016 World Latte Art Championship. He is renowned in the coffee art world for his use of colour and the precision of his designs. Originally from Nepal, Dhan has been demonstrating his techniques the world over and training would-be baristas from his coffee lab in the UK.

Fiona Hunter

Fiona Hunter has over 20 years' experience in the field of nutrition. In 1988 she became nutrition editor at 'Good Housekeeping' magazine. She now works freelance contributing to a number of magazines and newspapers, as well as regularly appearing on television and radio.Location: London, UK.

Fiona Wilcock

Fiona Wilcock, MSc, PGCE, BA, RPHNutr, has, as a freelance nutrition consultant, written widely on diet in pregnancy, infancy and the early years. Fiona has worked with the British Nutrition Foundation as a nutrition scientist. She has been nutrition expert for Mother & Baby magazine for several years and has provided nutrition consultancy for the UK's Health Education Authority and Marks & Spencer.

Francesca Leung

Francesca Leung works in editorial, writes books and has written for Wallpaper*, Time Out London, ES magazine and ShortList. She also draws comics and her design work has been exhibited at the V&A museum. Her favourite things are pirates, Batman® and cake, and she spends her spare time playing Assassin's Creed® or losing at mahjong. She makes the best cup of tea in the world, according to herself. You would not want to live with her.

Guy Barter

Guy Barter is the Chief Horticultural Advisor of the Royal Horticultural Society, having joined the organization as superintendent of trials at RHS Garden Wisley in 1990. Prior to that, he gained experience in the commercial horticultural world after graduating with a degree in horticulture. Guy now runs the RHS Members' Advisory Service, which provides answers to an enormous range of questions and supplies evidence-based advice for thousands of gardeners.

Heather Couper

Heather Couper is a past President of both the British Astronomical Association and the Society for Popular Astronomy. She is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and the Institute of Physics, and a former Millennium Commissioner, for which she was awarded the CBE in 2007.

James Hoffmann

James Hoffmann is the managing director of Square Mile Coffee Roasters, a multi-award-winning coffee roasting company based in East London. He is also the World Barista Champion 2007, having won the UK Barista competition in both 2006 and 2007. He writes a popular blog, www.jimseven.com, about coffee and the coffee business. The World Atlas of Coffee is his first book.

Joanna Farrow

Joanna Farrow loves having fun with her food, having giving cakes and cookies a whole new look in Dress Your Cake and Dress Your Gingerbread. A home economist and food writer, she has also contributed to numerous food magazines and has written a number of other titles, including Ready Steady Cook for Kids, Good Fast Family Food, Cake and Peek-a-boo Cakes.

Judith Miller

Judith Miller began collecting in the 1960s while a student at Edinburgh University in Scotland. She has since extended and reinforced her knowledge of antiques through international research, becoming one of the world's leading experts in the field. In 1979 she co-founded the international best-seller Miller's Antiques Price Guide and has since written more than 100 books which are held in high regard by collectors and dealers.Judith Miller appears regularly on TV and radio. She is an expert on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow and has co-hosted the popular BBC series The House Detectives, ITV's Antiques Trail, and Discovery's It's Your Bid. She has appeared on The Martha Stewart Show and CNN. She is a regular lecturer and contributor to numerous newspapers and magazines, including the Financial Times, the Daily Telegraph, BBC Homes & Antiques and House & Garden. She has lectured extensively, including at the V&A in London and the Smithsonian in Washington.

Louise Blair

Louise Blair is a home economist and food stylist who specialises in healthy recipes. She was a consultant for Diabetes UK and is the author of a number of books including Quick Cooking for Diabetes and Low-GI Cookbook, both published by Hamlyn.

Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood

Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood is a champion barista who has competed in the World Barista Championship and has won the UK Barista Championship three times. He is co-owner of an award-winning independent roastery and coffee shop. Having travelled the world studying the science and art of coffee, Maxwell co-authored Water For Coffee with Dr. Christopher H. Hendon of MIT, a study on the chemical interactions between water and coffee, and how they can be manipulated to create a higher-quality cup. He frequently works with coffee experts around the world throughout various parts of the coffee chain to develop new and better technology for the enjoyment of coffee.

Nigel Henbest

Nigel Henbest has been Astronomy Consultant to New Scientist magazine, Editor of the Journal of the British Astronomical Association, and Media Consultant to the Royal Greenwich Observatory. He is also a Future Astronaut with Virgin Galactic.

Olia Hercules

Olia Hercules was born in Ukraine and lived in Cyprus for 5 years before moving to London to study a BA in Italian language, followed by an MA in Russian and English. A number of jobs followed before her interest in food as an amateur reached its apogee and she decided to retrain as a chef at Leith's School of Food and Wine. She kicked off her culinary career working at London's Union Market before landing her dream job as a chef-de partie for Ottolenghi's.
