Henry Dimbleby

Killian Fox grew up in northwest Ireland and livesin London. He is the editor and co-founder of The Gannet, which acts as a conduit for his shameless nosiness about other people's eating habits. A regular contributor to the Observer Food Monthly, he has also written for the Guardian, The Times and the New Statesman, covering music, film, literature, travel and technology as well as food. He'd call himself an omnivore were it not for a lingering fear of boiled eggs.

Linnea Dunne

Linnea Dunne was born and raised in Sweden, where she started her writing career as a columnist at the local newspaper aged 15. She left for Ireland a few years later and eventually moved to London, where she studied Creative Writing and Political Communications. She now lives in Dublin with her husband and two half-Swedish kids, trying to achieve that lagom balance against all odds. Linnea's work on subjects ranging from motherhood to women's rights and media narratives has been published by (among others) the Irish Times, the Guardian and the Irish Independent, and she also works as Editor of Scan Magazine. Michael Freeman

Michael Freeman, professional photographer and best-selling author, was born in England in 1945, took a Masters in Geography at Brasenose College, Oxford University, and then worked in advertising in London for six years. In 1971 he made the life-changing decision to travel up the Amazon with two secondhand cameras, and when Time-Life used many of the pictures he came back with, he embarked on a full-time photographic career.Since then, working for clients that include all the world's major magazines, most notably the Smithsonian Magazine (for which he has shot more than 40 stories over 30 years), Freeman's reputation as one of the world's leading reportage photographers has been consolidated. Michael Powell studied English Language and Literature at Manchester University before spending three years at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, training to be an actor. Olia Hercules

Olia Hercules was born in Ukraine and lived in Cyprus for 5 years before moving to London to study a BA in Italian language, followed by an MA in Russian and English. A number of jobs followed before her interest in food as an amateur reached its apogee and she decided to retrain as a chef at Leith's School of Food and Wine. She kicked off her culinary career working at London's Union Market before landing her dream job as a chef-de partie for Ottolenghi's.
