David Wright began his career as a geography teacher, before moving into teacher training. Together with his wife, Jill, and son and daughter, he has travelled the world extensively, researching new material for educational and children's books. David and Jill Wright are the authors of the highly successful Philip's Children's Atlas, now in its 12th edition.

Hugh Johnson is the world's pre-eminent writer on wine. First published in 1977, his Pocket Wine Book sells hundreds of thousands of copies a year. She makes frequent visits to the USA to stay ahead of the crowd and, in the early 1980s, was the first British journalist to take a serious interest in American wine.

Rachel Hazell is a book and paper artist based in Edinburgh with over 15 years' experience in leading people on creative journeys. She has held creative workshops around the world, including Scotland and Italy and is regularly commissioned for projects such as large-scale installations for shops and galleries. Her online course, Paper Love, was launched in 2014 to enable people to develop their skills and ideas remotely.
