James Wong is a Kew-trained botanist, science writer and broadcaster based in London. They have both appeared on Saturday Kitchen. Katie is also the author of The Italian Cookery Course. Giancarlo was diagnosed with diabetes in 2012. Since then he has gone into remission after changing his diet to a low-carb diet.
