Cocktail of the Day: Difford’s Guide Egg Nog

2½ shots Cognac V.S.O.P.
½ shot sugar syrup
1 fresh egg (white and yolk)
½ shot single/whipping cream
2 shots milk
grated nutmeg

Pour ingredients into heatproof glass and stir. Heat in microwave and stir again or mix and warm in pan – do not boil. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
